Story So Far

QUINN-healthcare was formed in February 2007 following a high-profile acquisition of the health insurer BUPA Ireland by the QUINN Group. QUINN-healthcare employs over 320 personnel in a new €25 million state-of-the art facility in Little Island, Co. Cork and has embarked on a significant drive to increase its profile and share of the Irish health insurance market.

The company currently has over 510,000 members and this success can be attributed to its reputation for professionalism and expertise in providing healthcare solutions to both the individual and corporate market. The company strongly focuses on providing excellent customer care, comprehensive benefits and great value health insurance.

QUINN-healthcare is committed to the introduction of innovative benefits and were the first company to introduce benefit for complimentary therapies and 50% back on costs for everyday medical expenses.  The company was also the first Irish healthcare company to offer members with serious illness access to expert medical opinions from leading specialists around the world. The company have partnered with the Tropical Medical Bureau and offer members reduced costs for cervical cancer vaccinations nationwide. In late 2009, the company introduced a new infertility benefit. This is the first time in Ireland this treatment is to be covered by a private health insurance company and enables members to claim for IVF and related treatment.
