IT - Business Analyst (6 Month Contractor Role)
Main duties for the role
- Lead business analysis, requirements gathering and solution design activity for key business critical projects within QUINN-healthcare
- Plan and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops and exercises with key subject matter experts and business users
- Comprehensively document business needs and requirements based on defined processes, documentation standards
- Prepare and present business case for business requirements
- Work with Software Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure that all solutions and projects are implemented
- Produce high quality solution designs to agreed timelines to enable delivery of business solutions in a timely manner

Software Developer - (Temporary Maternity Cover)
Department Function/Objective
The Software Development team is sited within the IT Team. The overall aim
of the Software Development team is the provision of applications and
support to the QUINN-healthcare organisation.
Primary Function
The primary function of this role is to assist all departments by
providing new applications and support the existing applications in each
department based on a defined and agreed process.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Participate in defining application requests with the
relevant business users
- Design and build applications based on defined business
criteria
- Participate in Software Development lead projects
- Deliver support to business users
- Follow the defined and agreed process
- Follow the current support procedures
Experience
The ideal person will have 5+ years experience, a business focus and keen development
skills. The person will show attention to detail and be an excellent
communicator. Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, PowerBuilder, HTML,
JavaScript, XSQL, XML, XSLT, Eclipse, Authorete and various aspects of
IT (database technology in particular) and analysis is an advantage.
Additional skills include motivation, enthusiasm, working in a close
team environment, and the ability to set and follow clear objectives.
Problem Solving
Analytical ability required in identifying user problems and
creativity required to present effective solutions. Ability to
communicate in layman's terms with non-technical users is an advantage.
Accountability
Scope of projects can impact the whole organisation and effective
solutions are required with minimum delay.
Scope of Authority
The Software Developer will work closely with all department members and
provide solutions to the requests from the department managers. He/she
will also work closely with IT colleagues in following development
process/procedures and strive to enhance the current proposed process.
