Hospital Cover Benefits
Members of the CompanyCare Premium scheme are covered for a private room in public hospitals and a private room in private hospitals. The CompanyCare Premium scheme includes an excess per claim for private hospital charges. This means that you will be required to pay the first €50, €125 or €200 of your hospital claim depending on the hospital you choose. This is not a per day charge, you will only be asked to pay an excess per claim. View our hospital list for details of these excesses. However, this will be waived if you choose to pay a higher subscription.
With the CompanyCare Premium scheme you are also covered for day-case procedures in the Mater Private Hospital, the Beacon Hospital and the Blackrock Clinic. A €200 excess per claim will apply to these procedures.
