How to Claim
First things first, contact one of our customer service advisers on 1890 700 890 to check your cover.
If you are referred by your GP to a consultant, let them know that you have private health insurance.
If you then need to go into hospital, remember to bring your membership card with you because you will be asked to sign a claim form in hospital.
The hospital then sends us the bills and in the majority of cases we settle these bills directly with the hospital. We will of course send you a letter which will explain what has been paid and to whom.
How to claim for out-patient receipts
You should keep your out-patient receipts (i.e. G.P., physiotherapy) during the year. At your renewal time, complete an out-patient claim form, attach all the appropriate receipts and send this to QUINN-healthcare, Mill Island, Fermoy, Co. Cork. Your receipts should contain the name of the patient, the cost incurred and the date of the visit.
Tax relief is also available for medical expenses.
